Nach 3 erlebnisreichen Wochen heisst es Abschied nehmen von der imposanten Ranch von Jörg und Yvonne. Das Haus einmalig, Natur pur und vielfältig, die Verpflegung 1a! Alle Personen inkl. Gäste nett und freundlich. Nicht zu vergessen die Tiere. Die vornehme Katze ‘Nudel’, die strubeligen Katzenbrüder, die 4 Hunde Kuma, Keeo, Kassy und Kaya und natürlich die Pferde Cisco, Snoopy, Duke und Jet. Die Tiere haben ja das Paradies auf Erden.
Als Abschluss unternahmen Nelly und ich mit Jörg eine 5-Tagestour. Wir kamen aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus, besonders in den Rocky Mountains. Wir fuhren km um km: Wald, Wald und nochmals Wald. Im Hintergrund die gewaltigen Berge, geprägt vom Entstehen im Millionen von Jahren -  gefältet, gestreift, geschichtet. Ja, man muss es einfach gesehen haben. Dann wieder Seen, Flüsse, Wasserfälle und Deltas. Leider blieb die grosse Vielfalt von Tieren im Wald versteckt. Wir haben es genossen.

Ein abschliessendes Highlight unserer Canada-Rundreise war mit Sicherheit die Myra-Canyon Ranch mit Ihren liebenswerten Gastgebern. Eine wunderschöne Gegend, ein wunderschönes Haus, fantastische schöne Tiere, ein Traum-Appartement, der Ausblick Wahnsinn, dazu ein leckeres Frühstück mit selbst gebackenem Brot, man kann nur schwärmen und herzlichen Dank sagen für die schönen Tage, die wir verbringen durften.

Trotz unserer sehr kurzen Zeit hier (leider nur eine Nacht) haben wir alles sehr genossen. Die Myra-Canyon Ranch ist unsere erste Anlaufstelle für unseren Kanada Urlaub. Besser hätte der Urlaub nicht beginnen können. Das Haus, die wunderbare Aussicht, die Menschen und Tiere haben einen ganz besonderen Charme. Wir haben uns in diesem familiären Ambiente unheimlich wohl gefühlt. Liebes Ranch-Team
Wir haben uns bei Euch sehr wohl und gut umsorgt gefühlt: liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück, super Tipps fuer Ausflüge in die Umgebung und nicht zu vergessen der grandiose Rundum blick auf der tollen Terrasse. Wir haben die Tage hier sehr genossen und bedauern sehr, nach zwei Nächten schon weiterfahren zu müssen.

Liebe Yvonne, lieber Jörg, liebes Team der Myra-Canyon Ranch!

Übers Internet hatten wir uns bei unseren Reisevorbereitungen spontan fuer 4 Tage auf der Myra-Canyon Ranch entschieden. Die reizvolle Landschaft, die Bilder vom architektonisch sehr ansprechenden Haus – offen und lichtdurchflutet. Eure Darstellung des Gesamtkonzepts im Internet hat uns damals überzeugt, hier den längsten Zwischenstopp bei unserer Rundreise durch BC einzulegen. Umso erfreuter waren wir damals, bei unserem ersten Mail-Kontakt von Yvonne zu erfahren, dass eine Reservierung im Hummingbird im gewünschten Zeitraum klar ging.

Heute nach vier Nächten und auch Tagen bei Euch müssen wir sagen, dass unsere sehr hohen Erwartungen mehr als erfüllt worden sind. Nach zwei Kanada–Rundreisen in BC und Alberta mit vielen Stopps in wunderschönen Landschaften steht für uns fest: Bei Euch haben wir uns am wohlsten gefühlt!!!

Das liegt sicher an der Umgebung, dem Haus, unserem ‚Hummingbird-Nest’, der Lage, der Landschaft und an dem schönen Wetter, das wir nach einigen kalten und nassen Tagen in den Rockies so richtig genossen haben. Das liegt vor allem aber an den hier schaffenden Menschen. „Wir geben unseren Gästen unsere Dienstleistung mit Herz”, hast du, liebe Yvonne, uns in einem unserer Gespräche gesagt. Für diese Herzlichkeit und die Wärme, die wir hier erfahren haben, bedanken wir uns! Wir haben uns hier für wenige Tage “zu Hause” gefühlt und nehmen heute mit einiger Wehmut Abschied.

Unser erster Halt in Kanada nach dem hektischen Vancouver. Wir haben eure Gastfreundschaft an diesem wunderschönen Ort und in diesem traumhaften Haus sehr genossen: die Tiere, das Sundeck, der Hot Tub, das schöne Zimmer. Was wir kaum zu hoffen gewagt haben war, das wir das Ganze bei strahlend blauen Himmel und Temperaturen von fast 30 Grad geniessen durften. Schön, dass es noch andere Auswanderer als „Konny Reimann” gibt und danke, dass ihr diesen Ort erschaffen habt.

Für die Kinder eine Zeit voller Highlights – der Hot Tub, das Hochbett, die grosse Dusche, der lustige Wasserhahn, die Tiere, jeden Abend grillen … für uns 3 Tage in sehr schöner Umgebung in einem einzigartigen B&B! Nach Chickenburger, Majo-Kartoffel- und Thunfischsalat in unserer letzten Bleibe in Vancouver, war vor allem das leckere Frühstück ein Hochgenuss für uns alle. Wir werden die Tage hier in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten.

Vielen Dank fuer drei erholsame Tage in einem wunderschönen Haus. Wir haben die Ruhe und die herrliche Natur ringsum sehr genossen. Besonders erfreut waren wir über das liebevoll zusammengestellte Frühstücksbuffet – wohl das beste in BC! Auch für unsere Tochter Antonella war dieser Platz das Paradies. Sie konnte mit den Katzen und Hunden spielen, Pferde füttern und sie ist sogar um 7.00 Uhr aufgestanden um beim Ausmisten zu helfen. Ihr beide habt euch etwas Tolles aufgebaut.

Es wird sicherlich sehr schwierig sein einen so schoenen Platz zu finden wie wir hier gefunden haben. Wir haben die Naechte in dem Zelt sehr genossen, eine tolle Abwechslung von einem Baumspecht geweckt zu werden. Der Tipp unserer Freunde, die im letzten Jahr hier waren hat nicht zuviel versprochen: Ihr habt an einem traumhaften Fleckchen Erde ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Myra-Canyon Ranch was the first place I ever stayed with my now 15-month old daughter and it was an excellent choice. Plenty of room to run and fun stuff to get into. It was a very peaceful retreat from a hectic schedule of family visiting in Kelowna. The oasis we found nestled in surrounding beauty on the KVR. Many of our stays along the route were non descriptive, even beyond rustic. The ranch was our magnificent haven of rest.

5th annual Gray Bike Trip: An incredible place to spend our last night of biking the KVR. Kids loved the Luxury Tent while dads roughed it in the Rustic. Food was incredible. We bike 65 km today into Penticton and started in Midway!!

Wow! What a fantastic place to stay. The accommodation was of a very high standard, the attention to detail was superb. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Cycling the Myra Canyon was a particular highlight. This was one of the best places we have ever stayed anywhere in the world. We could not rate it highly enough.
Awesome (as the Canadians would say?). I loved staying here, the attention the staff took was brilliant they were all very willing to help. Breakfast was delicious; the variety of goods you served was great. I had a lot of fun in the hot-tub, especially when it was on full power. The accommodation was wonderful (I loved my bed in the loft). You were very helpful, I really don’t want to leave. I wish we could take the lodge and staff and views with us to the Rockies!
