Also miar wüssand nid gnau an was as liit - sinds dia tolla Gaschtgeber, dä cool Holzbau, dia liaba Hundetiar, das feina Zmorge, dia fridlicha Grillobig, dia super Lag oder's Singel Trail Netz grad hinter am Huus (dr Myra Bailout isch oberflowig und supereasy) ...... Uf alli Fäll hämmar üs pudalwohl gfühlt, sind zwei Tag z'lang bliiba und raisand jetzt mit wunderschööna Bilder im Kopf wiitar.

Wir hatten zwei wunderschöne Tage bei Euch - bei strahlendem Sonnenschein. Die Berge, das Wasser, das milde Klima und das Farbenspiel am Himmel bei Nacht erinnern uns stark an Banyuls in Südfrankreich. Ansonsten können wir uns den Gästen vor uns nur anschliessen.

Was für eine herrliche Lage, was für eine Ruhe, was für eine Herzlichkeit, was für einen Start in den Urlaub! Die Übernachtung im "Outfitter Tent" war etwas ganz besonderes und wird uns unvergessen bleiben. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder zu euch kommen, aber dann ganz bestimmt mehr als eine Nacht :-)

Nach 14 Tagen Rundreise durch BC und Alberta haben wir eine Vielzahl an schönen Ranchs und Bed und Breakfasts kennengelernt. Die Myra Canyon Ranch ist jedoch der Höhepunkt der Reise. Wir trafen hier gastfreundliche und liebenswerte Gastgeber in einem architektonisch beeindruckenden Ambiente.

Ich war 2 Nächte mit meinem Frauchen und Herrchen hier. Es gab hier so viel Neues zu erschnüffeln, dass mir die Nase jetzt ganz schön weh tut. Ich habe mich hier sehr wohl gefühlt, nicht überall wird man als Hund so gut aufgenommen. Auch meine Leute waren sehr begeistert über die familiäre Herzlichkeit.

Ich reihe mich ein in all die begeisterten und herzlichen Dankesworte in diesem Gästebuch. Auch ich habe alles genossen und mich herrlich erholt an diesem wunderschönen kanadischen Fleck Erde, in der Natur und dieser einmaligen Aussicht.
Es war für mich ausserordentlich spannend, die Bilder, die ich vom Erzählen am Telefon und vom Internet her kannte, nun in Natura zu erleben. Eure Gastfreundschaft ist zudem einzigartig und wohltuend und sicher in ganz Kanada nirgends mehr zu finden.

In onze email schreven we dat we vrolijker weg wilden gaan dan aankomen. Dat is gelukkt! „Eagles Nest“ was prachtig. Ontbijt was lekker, Jörg and Yvonne erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Jammer dat het voorbij is, maar 2,5 week Canada wachten gelukkig nog. Dit was pure verwennerij: Slapen = lekker; ontbijt = lekker, relaxen = lekker. Heel erg bedankt.

Warm, just baked bread at breakfast and a 24 km bike ride over the Myra-Canyon trestles of the Kettle Valley Railway Trail. Hard to say which is the best! A great spot - lieing in a comfy bed looking out at the twinkling lights of Kelowna and listening to the horses neighing. We hope to wind our way again,

What a luxurious treat to indulge ourselves on either side of our bike trip. This was a wonderful way to pamper the "mommas":-). The hot tub soaked our tired bodies & the quiet place nourished our souls. The food was yummy & brought back memories of travelling through Europe. We had the intention of just going camping but you gave us the experience of "tenting" and with the luxuries of a bathroom & shower and beautiful and delicious breakfast each morning. On our last day of vacation in Canada, we will be leaving with the best feeling as our stay at Myra-Canyon Ranch has been so wonderful. Everything is perfect!! You have done such a great job on the house and your thoughts for all guests are impressive. We could have stayed for weeks! We wish you all the best for your neat project.

This experience has been INCREDIBLE!!! We left Vancouver 2 days ago with a plan - to chill out, relax & do as little as possible for the first half of our vacation... It is difficult to fin a place that is as pet friendly as yours. We felt like the vacation was as much for our dog than us. We further appreciated how great everyone was with our one year old. We loved our stay. The luxury of the hot tub and fantastic breakfast (we love the coffee and homemade bread), as well as the fun camping feel of the tent. Well, I came this year with Carol & the dogs to keep her company and she brought me to this wonderful place. The food was just excellent and the view magnificent. This has been a remarkably relaxing & satisfying holiday for us. The location, the building, grounds and the nearby trails are all splendid and invigorating, but really, it has been the grace and warmth of our hosts Yvonne & Joerg and the other members of the household (both two and four legged) that have made this so healing and pleasant as a vacation. My only complaint is that I am now spoiled for breakfasts, and don’t know how I will cope with my usual toast and coffee after the morning feasts we’ve enjoyed here.
PS: The birds liked it, too!

We could sit and eat breakfast all day if we didn't have to go biking on the KVR trestles. This is "the" spot to be for a luxurious / casual stay and a bit of recreation. We loved meeting the diverse staff and other guests at Myra-Canyon Ranch! It must be the best spot in K-town.

Thank you for a very lovely stay! We thought the "Luxury Outfitter Tent" was cozy and Cougar (the cat) joining uns made it even better! The animals, the atmosphere and hospitality were all brilliant. Gewoon te gek! Ineens in ’t midden van de Okanagan vind je een Zwitserse familie die Hollands kunnen praten en een geweldig gezellige ‘herberg’ hebben gecreëerd. This was our first trip to Myra-Canyon Ranch and we were so impressed! The food was phenomenal, the views spectacular and the trails fun and challenging. We were thrilled to find out we could stay two nights in the Eagles Nest. My horse “Peanut” was relaxed and happy in her paddock and our dog “Tequila” was exhausted after the 20 km trail ride. Matt and I decided we wanted to steal your loaf of “Sunday Bread” to take back with us. I made him stay an extra ½ hour so I could enjoy another slice. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality – we will be back!

Well, what a fabulous place to find mid-way through our Canadian odyssey. Bringing the two children from London UK to Canada has been a great eye-opening experience for them, but the chance to stay in such a beautiful and pleasant environment has been a real highlight. But the real treat, beyond even the wonderful breakfasts, amazing hot tub and friendly atmosphere was the chance for Flynn to play cowboy for his 5th birthday on the 13th. We are certain it is a memory he will long treasure, getting to ride Snoopy wearing his cowboy hat, and several tractor rides.
