Classic Trail Ride |
Starts with a warm up in the riding arena and some individual riding instructions. Once our wrangler is sure that you are familiar with the basics and feel comfortable with the horse you will be taken out on a entertaining trail ride on the mountain.

- We offer trail riding for the novice up to the experienced rider. For the trail rides no experience is required. Each trail ride starts with a warm-up in the riding arena as well as some individual riding instructions depending on the needs and skills level of each rider.
Starting Times and Check In
- Our standard riding times for Classic Trail Rides are 9:00 am, 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm. For all other rides and lessons the starting time is arranged individually. We offer trail rides 7 days a week, including holidays.
- Please ensure your arrival at Myra-Canyon Ranch at least 15 minutes before your scheduled ride.
How to Book
- We offer trail rides in small groups. To avoid disappointment we highly recommend that you reserve your spot in advance.

Requirements
- All riders under 18 must wear a helmet. If ever possible please bring your own sport helmet along (cycling helmets are ok).
- The minimum age for trail riding at Myra-Canyon Ranch is 10 years - or 8, if ponied by an asistant guide . Younger children can enjoy a guided Kids Ride in the arena and on the property.
- A 220 lb (100 kg) weight limit applies.
- All riding guests are required to sign a waver (for persons under 18 years a parent or guardian must sign on behalf of the participant)
What to Bring
- All riders under 18 must wear a helmet. If ever possible please bring your own sport helmet along (cycling helmets are ok).
- Please wear long trousers as well as sturdy footwear with a small heel. Depending on the weather it might be useful to bring a warm jacket or rain jacket along. A trail ride in the rain – or even in the snow – is also very enjoyable if you’re prepared.
- Don’t forget your camera!
Dogs
- We are asking you to leave your pets at home for their own safety as well as the safety of others – sorry no exceptions possible!
Payment
- Full payment of your trail ride arrangement is required after the ride either with Cash or Personal Cheque (sorry, no Credit Cards accepted).
