Policy
Requirements
All riders under 18 must wear a helmet. If ever possible please bring your own sport helmet along (cycling helmets are ok).
The minimum age for trail riding at Myra-Canyon Ranch is 10 years - or 8, if ponied by an asistant guide . Younger children can enjoy a guided Kids Ride in the arena and on the property.
A 220 lb (100 kg) weight limit applies.
All riding guests are required to sign a waver (for persons under 18 years a parent or guardian must sign on behalf of the participant)
Check-in time
Please ensure your arrival at Myra-Canyon Ranch at least 15 minutes before your scheduled ride.
What to Bring
All riders under 18 must wear a helmet. If ever possible please bring your own sport helmet along (cycling helmets are ok).
Please wear long trousers as well as sturdy footwear with a small heel. Depending on the weather it might be useful to bring a warm jacket or rain jacket along. A trail ride in the rain – or even in the snow – is also very enjoyable if you’re prepared. Don’t forget your camera!
Dogs
We are asking you to leave your pets at home for their own safety as well as the safety of others – sorry no exceptions possible!
Payment
Full payment of your trail ride arrangement is required after the ride either with Cash or Personal Cheque (sorry, no Credit Cards accepted).
Cancellation / Late Arrival :
Cancellation 24 hours or more prior to booked horse back ride: no charge applies
Cancellation less than 24 hours prior to booked horse back ride: charge of $ 10.00 per person applies
Please note: we recommend that you arrive ¼ hour prior to your booking so you have enough time to get ready for the ride. For late arrivals you will only be able to enjoy the remaining time of your booking.
